Our Estate Vineyard
The Walla Walla Valley is home to some of Washington’s oldest wineries and has the highest concentration of wineries in Washington. Grape growing began in Walla Walla Valley in the 1850s by Italian immigrants
Planted in 1996, our 11.5-acre vineyard is located on Walla Walla’s Southside and was formerly part of the celebrated Pheasant Run Vineyard. The Southside location has a unique terroir well known for producing very high-quality Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. We are blessed to be surrounded by some of the top wineries in the area.
The rows are oriented from North to South, spaced ten feet apart, providing morning and evening sun on opposite sides of the canopy.
With views toward the Blue Mountains and surrounded by beautiful neighboring vineyards, it is our little slice of heaven.
Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot
Spofford Loam, fine silty soils
This is the source for our Pinot Noir. North to South oriented rows lead to morning and evening sun on opposite sides of the canopy. While the warm, sunny days throughout the summer allow for excellent ripening and darker colors – the cool nights help the fruit hold on to its natural acidity well into October.
Pinot Noir Rose
Located west of the Columbia River, 5 miles northwest of Benton City and the Red Mountain AVA in the Columbia Valley.
We source Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris from this vineyard. North to South oriented rows lead to morning and evening sun on opposite sides of the canopy. The vines typically fall over the wires and shade themselves leading to lower fruit zone temperatures and the retention of the characteristic grassiness.
Vintages: Sauvignon Blanc (2021-present), Pinot Gris (2022-present)
Located on the east bank of the Columbia River, 5-10 miles north of the Tri-Cities in the Columbia Valley.
Planted in the 1970s and expanded over many years, three vineyards fall under this group name: Sagemoor, Bacchus, and Dionysus Vineyards. We source our Sauvignon Blanc from this vineyard complex. The sandy loam soil at these vineyards produces some of the best whites and reds in Washington state.
